Studio Haven Rental Policies
Rental Fees

The rental rate is $65 per hour, due in full at the time of booking.

Your reservation begins and ends at your scheduled times, regardless of arrival or session delays.

Setup and cleanup must be done within your reserved time.

Staying beyond your reserved time will incur a $10 per minute overtime fee, starting 1 minute after your scheduled end time.

Please note: Even if no one is booked after you, your time still ends as scheduled. Staying late without prior approval is not permitted.

Use of Studio

Studio use is intended solely for photography sessions and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

The space may not be used for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized activities.

For large group sessions (sports teams, cheer squads, or groups of 10+), a minimum 4-hour booking is required to ensure smooth flow and avoid overcrowding. Please stagger client arrival times and plan breaks as needed.

Care of Studio & Equipment

The studio must be returned in the same condition it was received.

Renters are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests.

No alterations may be made to the studio, furniture, or equipment without written consent from Studio Haven.

Liability & Insurance

Renters assume full responsibility for injury or damage caused by themselves or their guests during their rental.

Studio Haven is not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages.

Renters may be asked to provide proof of liability insurance for certain bookings and must provide it upon request.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

No refunds or cancellations are allowed.

There is a maximum of 2 reschedules per booking.

Renters may reschedule once at no charge. Additional reschedules are $25 each and must be scheduled within 30 days of the original booking.

These policies help ensure serious bookings and protect availability for others.

Video Surveillance

The property is monitored via security cameras in visible areas around the property (never in private spaces). This is for safety and security purposes only.

Conduct

Studio Haven is located in a residential area and maintains a calm, professional environment.

Renters are responsible for the behavior of everyone in their group.

Studio Haven reserves the right to end a session without refund if illegal, dangerous, or disrespectful behavior occurs.

Motorized Backdrop System

Do not attempt to change the paper backdrop rolls yourself.

If there’s an issue, contact Chelsea at (803) 239-3082.

The paper is reusable and should only be cut if absolutely necessary.

General Rules

Children must be supervised at all times.

No fireworks, sparklers, confetti, or glitter.

No aerosol products (spray paint, glitter spray, fog/haze, etc.) as they can damage surfaces and linger in the air.

No nails, tacks, or staples — painter’s tape only (provided).

No smoking inside or near the building (smoking permitted only at the end of the driveway).

No illicit drug use.

No explicit sexual content or nudity.

Studio is not responsible for lighting conditions due to weather.

Be respectful of our neighbors.

Food and drinks are allowed — please clean up afterward.

All trash must fit in the provided can. If it doesn’t fit, take it with you. Do not leave overflow trash or large items behind.

Pets are welcome with permission — renter assumes full responsibility for any mess or damages.

Return all props, furniture, and items to their original positions before leaving.

Leave on time with the studio fully cleared out (people, props, and gear). Book extra time if needed.
