Rental Fees: The renter shall pay the rental fee of $65/hr to the Studio Owner for the use of the studio during the rental period. The rental fee is due upon booking. Your reservation time begins promptly at the requested start time and ends at your designated ending time.
This includes set up and clean up. You must exit by the end of the rental period. If failed to do so, renters will be charged $10/minute starting 1 minute after booked rental time.

Use of Studio: The renter may use the studio during the rental period to conduct photography sessions, provided that the use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. The renter shall not use the studio for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

For photography sessions involving large groups (such as sports teams, cheerleading squads, or any group exceeding 10 people), clients are required to book a minimum of 4 hours. To ensure a smooth experience and to avoid overcrowding, please schedule breaks and space out the sessions accordingly. We cannot accommodate traffic jams or large gatherings at once. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as it benefits not only your clients but also Studio Haven and our neighbors.

Care of Studio and Equipment: The renter shall leave the studio in the same condition as it was when the rental period began. The renter shall be responsible for any damage to the studio, equipment, or furnishings caused by the renter or any person accompanying the renter. The renter shall not make any alterations to the studio, equipment, or furnishings without the prior written consent of the Studio Owner.

Liability: The renter assumes full responsibility for any injury or damage to any person or property caused by the renter or any person accompanying the renter while in the studio during the rental period. The renter shall indemnify and hold the Studio Owner harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to the renter's use of the studio.

Insurance: The renter shall obtain and maintain liability insurance for the duration of the rental period. The renter shall provide proof of insurance to the Studio Owner upon request.

Cancellation: For 1-Hour & 2-Hour Rentals: If the renter cancels this Contract more than 48 hours before the rental period start date, the renter shall be entitled to a full refund of the rental fee, minus any credit card fees. If the renter cancels this Contract less than 48 hours before the rental period start date, the renter shall forfeit the rental fee. Fees are in place to ensure prime dates/times are serious bookings, as to not take away the studio from others who are serious about booking.

For Half-Day & Full-Day Rentals: If the renter cancels this Contract more than 14 days before the rental period start date, the renter shall be entitled to a full refund of the rental fee, minus any credit card fees. If the renter cancels this Contract less than 14 days before the rental period start date, the renter shall be entitled to a 50% refund of the rental fee, minus any credit card fees. Fees are in place to ensure prime dates/times are serious bookings, as to not take away the studio from others who are serious about booking.

Rescheduling: The renter is allowed (1) rescheduling, then is charged a $25 rescheduling fee. Must be rescheduled within 30 days.

Video Surveillance: The renter agrees that Studio Haven may conduct video surveillance of any portion of its premises at any time, and that video cameras will be positioned in appropriate places surrounding the building and used in order to help promote the safety and security of people and property.

Conduct: The studio is located on a residential property and we maintain a professional environment. Renter will be solely responsible for the conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying Renter while on Studio Premises. Renter agrees and acknowledges that a Studio Haven may, at Studio Haven’s sole discretion, be present at all times. If Studio Haven observes or otherwise becomes aware of dangerous, illegal or negligent practices or activities, or violations of this Agreement, Studio Haven reserves the right to stop the activity and may require Renter and Renter’s party to leave immediately. In such case, no refund will be given for unused time. However, Studio Haven and its representatives assume no responsibility to act in such cases.

Motorized Roller Backdrop: Please do not change out the paper on the remote-controlled backdrop. If you're having any issues with it please call Chelsea at (803) 239-3082‬. The paper backdrops are not single-use. These can be used multiple times, for multiple clients and photographers. A little dirt on the paper is fine! In most cases, it won't show up in photographs. The paper should only be cut when necessary. 

Changes to Terms: Studio Haven reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of any changes.




— All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. 
— Fireworks, sparklers, and glitter are not allowed.
— Nails, tacks or staples may not be used on the walls or any surfaces in the studio. If tape is used, it must be painter’s tape. This is a provided amenity. 
— No smoking in the studio or outside of the building. Please feel free to do so at the end of the driveway if need be.
— No illicit drug use is permitted.
— Studio is not responsible for the quality of lighting as a result of weather conditions.
— Please respect our neighbors.
— Food and drinks are allowed, but please clean up after yourself. 
— Explicit sexual activity and nudity are strictly prohibited.
— When pets are allowed on the Premises, Renter is responsible for any damage or destruction caused by Renter's pets.
— Clear the room of all belongings, furniture, props, and people so the room is available in the next hour (return to their original location if moved). Please book an extra hour if you feel like setting up and tearing down will take longer.
— All trash must be placed in the trash can provided. If you have items that do not fit in the trash, please dispose of them elsewhere. Do not leave it in the studio.
